# Failed to publish app

Hi there,

I have created a few apps in Firebase studio, and none of them will publish. When I click Publish, I was walked through linking a Google cloud account as well as being placed on the “pay as you go” Firebase App Hosting. All of that goes through well, then it sits for a while attempting to publish. It comes back failed to publish every time.

I go to the App hosting page and see a backend created by Studio, but I’m not sure what to look for here. It says “Waiting for your first release.” When I view it and go to Logs, there are no entries. I can’t post a screenshot since I’m a new user here and can only have one.

Any tips to get these out?
