This error occurs because the \*\*Move now\*\* button is restricted—only the \*\*original creator/owner\*\* of that specific workspace can trigger the automated migration tool.

If you are seeing this despite using only one account, it is usually caused by multi-account browser session conflicts (Google recognizing a collaborator ID) or because the workspace was initially cloned/forked from a shared template.

Solutions

Option 1: Duplicate the Workspace (Recommended)

1. Go to your \*\*Firebase Studio Dashboard\*\*.

2. Find the project, click the \*\*three dots (…)\*\* next to it, and select \*\*Duplicate\*\*.

3. Open the newly duplicated workspace. Because you are the owner of the duplicate, the \*\*Move now\*\* button will be enabled.

Option 2: Fix Google Account Session Conflict

1. Sign out of all Google accounts in your browser, or open an \*\*Incognito/Private Window\*\*.

2. Log directly into the account associated with Firebase Studio.

3. Reload the project and try clicking \*\*Move now\*\* again.

**Option 3: Manually Export Your Code**

If you cannot duplicate the workspace, you can export your files manually:

1. Open the workspace in \*\*Code view\*\*.

2. Click \*\*File \> Open Folder\*\* and open /home/user.

3. Right-click your project directory (e.g., studio or project name) and select \*\*Zip and Download\*\*.

4. Upload or import those files directly into \*\*Google AI Studio\*\* or \*\*Google Antigravity\*\*.
