# Firebase studio stuck in "setting up workspace"

This typically happens because your `/home/user/studio/.idx/dev.nix` file is invalid.

It is a very fragile configuration file and cannot gracefully handle errors.

If there is an error, your environment will not build.

It will go into recovery automatically.

Ask Gemini to check that file.
