# Free to play vs a Google Paid plan

Hiya all,  
I have been using Firebase Studio for a couple of months, and my project has grown and is “slowing down”.  
Will upgrading to a paid account increase the speed of Gemini compared to the free version?  
I ask this as I live outside the USA, and a Google Gemini plan for me is in effect about 50% higher than it costs for people in the USA. This means its a lot. I don’t want to be cheap, but the cost of Gemini high for me so I would like to check it out.

I also have a similar question. I think you are not talking about blaze plan but rather the gemini upgrade. does upgading the gemini plan effect app prototyper in a better way? Right now , the current versions of gemini are not so good as other ai models.
