# How to bring back the Web View tab?

While opening a existing project in IDX an Web View tab is automatically coming right after the editor to show live view. Once I close it, how to bring up this again? Reloading window doesnt work until the VM is stopped.

You can follow this step, based from [Project IDX troubleshooting & FAQ](https://developers.google.com/idx/guides/troubleshooting#preview-closed) pages.

> Open the command palette ( **Cmd+Shift+P** on Mac or **Ctrl+Shift+P** on ChromeOS, Windows, or Linux) and select **Project IDX: Show Web Preview**

im using Linux Mint + Firefox after above command opening a firefox private window

You can choose Menu \> View \> Command Palette… if the shortcut not work.
