AI chat keeps switching back to the Prototyper chat

I started a second AI chat in the side panel to explore some new ideas, but every 60 seconds or so the chat view switches back to the initial “prototyper” chat.

If I execute a prompt after an automatic switch it will still execute in the correct active chat, but the view will still show the protyper conversation. If I try to switch while executing a prompt the execution seems to be halted - so I have to wait long enough after executing to switch to the correct view again.

It is very annoying that I have to keep waiting for the switch and then switch back to the other chat and it makes it very dififcult to type a prompt and to read responses.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I actually figured this out soon after I posted the question.
This was happening because I had firebase studio open in two tabs - one in the prototype view and one in the code view.
Once I closed the other tab the problem went away.
