Any Backup Options?

I’m new to making apps with this. It’s amazing—I spent days building an app, and then all of a sudden I started getting non-stop “Sorry, try again later” messages. The app wouldn’t load anything. Days of work and a really nice product seem to be gone. I tried to duplicate my workspasce before it was crashed, but couldn’t really figure it out. Nor could Figure out how to upload files from my local device, or where can I actually access the files on explorer to upload what I have, Any help with those questions would be greatly appreciated.

It looks like I’ll have to start over. Is there any way I can back up my progress in case Firestudio just stops working, so I don’t have to start from scratch again? I was able to select all and download the files from the Explorer (see pic).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don’t know much about apps, but I’m learning. ChatGPT suggested GitHub might be an option—maybe even my only option—though I’m not familiar with it.

Thank you in advance.

It’s quite trivial to use GitHub repositories to save your projects. Once in Firebase Studio, click the branch icon on the left of your screen and, if I remember correctly, you’ll be prompted to Sign into GitHub, where you can begin to manage your repository.

First of all, apologies for the issues you are seeing with accessing Firebase Studio. Are you still seeing the “Sorry, try again” message?
