When deploying my website firebase did not make an ignore file, so instead of uploading 450 file, it was uploading almost 30.000 files and my google cloud crashed.

Ah yes. Python templates should come with a .gcloudignore by default. This is a good bug.
Here’s a starter .gcloudignore template for you if you need one
