Getting from Google AI Studio to Firebase Studio?

Hello! Does anyone have a best practice in getting a prototype from Google’s AI Studio to Firebase Studio?

I was experimenting with Gemini 3 and accidentally made something I want to host. :melting_face: I deployed to gCloud but want to work on it from Firebase.

I tried importing my git repo for the prototype to Firebase Studio but it opens as the IDE without a working preview or Gemini API connection. Before I go too far or start over I am hoping there are other solutions.

Again, looking for the best ways to get from AI Studio, or Google Cloud, to Firebase. :grin:

You can import a repo into an existing project. I’d think you could start a new project using prototyper, remove everything you don’t want in it, and import the other repo.
