Hi I am developing an application using artificial intelligence. Previously, my VM crashed completely and I could not access my files. However, I could not add AI to the new workspace I opened. My project is https://hiwewalkbeta.netlify.app How do I do this? If my workspace crashes, how do I move it to another workspace? I mostly use AI. I do not have enough coding knowledge.
Can you share more information on the crash you experienced. Do you recall the experience or error message you received?
What do you mean example by “cannot add AI to the workspace.” Are you referring to not being able to open the Gemini window to continue chatting? In the bottom righthand corner of Firebase Studio on the status bar is a Gemini button. Clicking this button will open that Chat window. Could this be what you are looking for?
I’m currently using Firebase Studio with AI to develop my app. I don’t have much coding knowledge, so I’m working using AI + GitHub + Netlify. Previously, my virtual machine broke down and I lost access to my workspace.
I’ve created a new workspace now and activated the same AI assistant. When I entered a prompt, it generated something new, but I canceled that and pulled my old files from GitHub instead. However, it didn’t work and gave me a lot of errors.
Here’s my question: In the screenshot I sent, which files or parts should I back up? How can I back them up and continue working with the new AI (in the new workspace), using my old files and previous chat history?
I hope this makes sense.
I have this same issue.
My app crashed, I restarted, the prototyper tried to create a new blueprint.
After I accepted the new blueprint, it zeroed out every file in my project.
How do I restore the prototyper?
This post has some good information that may be able to get you up and running again. Note that file names have since changed from capra-*
to prototyper-*
after the early posts which is pointed out by one of the commenters. How-to Enabling Prototyper on Existing Project + Prototyper Full Context Clear
Would it be possible to get a new and current post of that? I feel like that post is hard to follow along at this point since so much has changed and has gotten so long; the readability of it is a little difficult. I saw it when it was first posted and found it helpful, I find it little less helpful now that so much time has gone on and there have been so many other posts and little changes here and there.
