How do I access the MySQL database from local or any other idx project

So I made the port public for the mysql server running in the idx project , how do I connect to it using my local workbench or any other idx project when i do it is telling request timeout?

  1. Verify the VM is active. If the workspace is not active it will turn down and the database will not be running.

  2. Verify that the database server is actually running.

  3. Verify you are accessing the correct url. You can get the right url from the panel.
