i started a new workspace and im zorking on a flutter project rn amyway to start the emulator or even my phisical device in firebase studio
Hey, did you start the new workspace with the Flutter template?
If so the preview window should be available already, if it is closed you can reopen it by pressing ‘Preview’ in the bottom bar of the ide.
If you didn’t use the Flutter template you made need to configure your environment like this Preview your app | Firebase Studio
To add to what RichH mentioned, today there isn’t a way to add the Android emulator to a non-Flutter or non-ReactNative workspace. We do have a plan to make the emulators a service you can add to any workspace, so we hope to have more to announce shortly.
I have worked on a new empty work space
And wold love to add an option to costume workspaces before start like for flutter enable web/android…
I too have problems with android emulator , it works sometimes and it doesn work sometimes whatsoever and there is option for linux emulator but its doesnt even launch. I use the flutter template provided and the template is configured to build apps for android only and I cant configure it to build for ios , macos , linux , windows and fuchsia can you guys please update the flutter template to solve the emulator issues and configure flutter to build apps for all other platforms along with android( I am asking this as I tried to configure it many times the dependencies for ios and linux dont meet and I cant change them and rest are not even being detected) .Thanks in Advance, Hoping for help ASAP!
