I didn’t like that the browser toolbar took up so much space from my web editor. I wanted to maximize screen space. So, I installed project idx as a PWA (progressive web app). Everything is full screen when I open the PWA. However, when I navigate to a workspace and start typing in any file, a URL bar pops up at the top, as shown below. Is there any way to remove that so I can get more screen space to work? I am using Android. The screenshot below is from my phone, but I typically use it on my tablet, where I can see the same problem.
Well, I solved my problem. If you have your keyboard connected to your tablet or your phone, you can use F11 to make it full screen. It works on the PWA and on the website (when you’re in your workspace). I finally have more screen space! Woohoo!
