Is this issue due to a configuration error, act of god, or is this part of an attack (or something else)? Is there any information you can share or link to give regarding this?

Nothing too dramatic. I wish I had a better story :slight_smile:

We are bringing online new regions to increase capacity, and the issues people are seeing are them running out of capacity in existing regions.

I continue to be unable to open workspace. I receive:
Whoops… we are experiencing increased load and are spinning up a new VM for you. This may take several minutes. Check back soon.
Then:
Error opening workspace: We are currently experiencing increased load. Please come back and try again later. https://studio.firebase.google.com/wasteland-trail-13562412

Glad to hear that you all are able to start accessing your workspaces! Again, really sorry about this. We are working to look at ways to make this less painful moving forward.

From looking at our logs, almost all affected workspaces should be back online. Can you all try again and see if you are still having issues? If you are still having issues, do share with me your workspace URL again.
