Created a project with NextJS template. Always stuck on “Initializing environment”.
Did this happen the first time you tried to create the project? Or is this happening in a subsequent attempt when you try to open a closed project?
This is happening to me too. The first time i create a new project it just keeps getting stuck on initializing environment. I tried deleting the first one and created a new one with a new name. Same problem. It’s a java project if that has anything to do with it.

Ok, I figured out the problem.
It’s working fine when running on a computer but when running on an iPad (chrome / edge) it gets stuck. So it’s most likely related to being run on an iPad. 
This should maybe have been obvious to me but oh well, now you have more to go on.
I am stuck without my extensions fully loading. This is happening every day now. Basically unable to work immediately or within a couple hours of using the system.
Sometimes it shows where it gets stuck in the lower left hand corner and has said: Initializing JS/TS language features.
That’s weird, but Edge is working fine on iPad in private browsing mode…
