"Suspicious Activity" Warning Preventing Workspace Access

I am experiencing an issue accessing my projects in Firebase Studio. I am consistently receiving the error message: “Error opening workspace. We’ve detected suspicious activity on one of your workspaces. Please contact customer for further assistance.” This error occurs across all my projects (or specific projects, if you know the names/IDs) and prevents me from entering my workspaces.

I am the legitimate owner and user of this account, and I am not aware of any unauthorized access or suspicious activities performed by myself. However, your system indicates such a detection.

Details:

  • Full Error Message: “Error opening workspace. We’ve detected suspicious activity on one of your workspaces. Please contact customer for further assistance.”
  • Other Visible Warning: Additionally, there is a yellow banner at the top of the page stating: “Heads up! This workspace is owned by . Be cautious with entering sensitive information, as it may be seen by the owner. Learn more.” (Include this if it appears on your actual project, if it’s your own project, the ownership part might be different).

I am concerned about the security of my account and need your assistance to regain access to my projects. I would appreciate it if you could investigate what triggered this “suspicious activity” alert and guide me on how to resolve it.

I believe everyone except Google employees is experiencing this issue. Either they’re deliberately ignoring it, or an amateurishly built detection system has banned all users and they’re not even aware of it.

Yes, I submitted a ticket regarding my issue and I am still waiting.

Approximately how long do you think it’ll take to have the issue resolved or to hear back from your team?

I don’t know if I can believe it and I’m still waiting.

Is there a link where I can access the support ticket I submitted or see if it has been answered?

My problem has been fixed. I can now access all my projects. Special thanks to Moises and the Engineering team who contacted me via email.
