Web App Refers to the Wrong Firebase Project When Deployed to Firebase Hosting

Where do I beggin… I had started an app that had major issues with Google Authentication so I had scrapped the web app but did not scrap the Firebase project, but I did create a new Firebase project and web app. Well from my supperize I discovered every time I ran the PUBLISH feature within Firebase Studio > (hostin) it referred back to the original Firebase project. The app runs fine because from the env.local file it has all the proper data but payment webhooks from Stripe just does not come back and make the necessary changes to the users tier change from a basic (free) account to a PRO paid account.

It so hard to explain but I just don’t want to start from the beginning again.

I can say Firebase Studio, Gemini AI and all the apps from Google Cloud is great but is it a mess in that its just so big it all just don’t snap together as it should.
