I feel like it would be a much better experience if I could quantify how frustrated I am through some kind of emoji scale when I send back my resposne. It gets annoying that the Prototyper is apologizing to me for causing me frustration when I am not actually frustrated. And then, it doesn’t seem to truly grasp when I’m actually seriously frustrated. The current up/down vote buttons don’t seem to capture this kind of feedback.
This is an interesting feature request. Tagging @ali and @romannurik for awareness ![]()
i put a small prompt at the beginning of every message and it really helps, one because i ask a question and the prototyper begins coding immediately rather then jsut answering me allowing me to think and come up with a solution, and the other annoying thing is it telling me im frustrated or apologizing ALOT i keep it on my clipboard and past it before every message it says
“Explain reasoning first, no code yet. I’ll affirm or deny before you proceed, Do not apologize or tell me im frustrated it slows down the coding process.”
feel free to use it, it actually works amazingly well
Thanks, appreciate that!
Have you tried using the code workspace and Gemini in that? It has an Ask feature that is helpful instead for certain activity since it doesn’t execute tasks like the Agent will do. Since that has gotten integrated, I’ve started using it more often.
yeah actually the app i was building was a sandbox with gemini and was the core reason i started injecting this into the messages when working on it with the copilot shockingly i had 100 percent success rate using it too, im hoping my new dedicated code helper is as successful with less token usage using the new function! i actually went with eden API they route through hundreds of ai so my coder is default gemini i plan to use whatever model fits the job i find openAI does better in older C languages then gemini while google is superior’ in TS and js im hopeful for the new Claude and finding a great unity and pyton coder(ive never made a full py application) i hope your project is going well
happy coding
