- slow, performance low
- cannot connect to a local android device via usb or QR code to debug line by line, its a custom android hardware so emulator won’t work.
- please add “Adnrodi Studio for Platform” to enable AOSP development in the cloud
Thanks for this feedback! Tagging @parishsu for awareness
I second this. USB debugging will be needed for hardware specific applications.
@parishsu is there a way to re-access an instance of Android Studio Cloud if you had powered off the VM? My result so far is a noVNC “Failed to connect to server”.
Also feel too slow and cant believe the environment had 16c64G resource.
when i open an terminal emulator, i could looks it slowly play its animation by my eye
also i cant change the default session by ubuntu, i want to change to my favorite i3wm , but i had tried so much time using different ways, none works

thanks in advanced
@alex_smith - thanks for this feedback. We are in early preview, and your items here are ones that we will consider exploring ways of solving in the future
hi @Ander_Dobo you can “reset” the VM for the Firebase studio home page menu icon - this should recover the VM to the state you had.
well, i just hope the day comes as quickly as possible
Can firebase studio’s team make it as fast as GeForce now?
It not cloud gaming no gpu fast for wtf? Play game ??
That is perception problem, not only the cloud gaming needs fast responsive. I don’t think your sarcasm is appropriate here
how you got visual accces?

do you actually know what is noVNC?
it caputures physical display or whatever it is using we can access our machine GUI..?

Basically, they are screen streaming. The difference is the protocol behind them

i tried to install chrome remote desktop for screen streaming but system denied to get that installed
we are discussing about Android Studio Cloud, and it is noVNC by default. You dont need to install anything
