Gemini CLI has been making errors like this for a while. As you can see in the image, it puts an ellipsis “…” in the parts that should be before the code. When I confirm this code, there is indeed a “…” and the program gives an error.
If I cancel it, it will have to redo the whole analysis. If I confirm it, it will give me an error.
If we have the possibility to enter a prompt other than “Yes” when the code is mistyped, we can make it continue from where it left off by correcting the error.
In Gemini CLI, Gemini 2.5 pro already has a limited usage limit and when I repeat the analysis due to such simple errors, I simply destroy my 2.5 pro limit.
I think there should be an option to enter prompt in addition to confirm or reject the code.
