Can you help me configure flutter to build apps for ios, macos , linux , windows . I tried many times to configure it just doesnt work and there are also no commands to build applications for for the above platforms ( no subcomands under flutter build) and i tried to slve this myself and by gemini and also coding agent none of which was successful , I wanna configure flutter so that its buids my project as app for all platforms supported by flutter .Thanks In adavance, hoping for help !!! ,
Hi @kirupa ,
Wow, that video on Firebase Studio was brilliant! Seriously impressive how you distilled all that goodness into just 5 minutes. It was really easy to follow and gave a great overview of the coolest features. Big fan!
It got me thinking (always a dangerous activity!)… how amazing would it be if you had some starter templates available? Like, pre-built with Auth, Firebase Storage and Firestore, and maybe even Google Pay hooked up? A real jumpstart for building a SaaS!
And hey, speaking purely hypothetically here, wouldn’t that also be a brilliant way for Firebase Studio (and Google!) to… ahem… monetize? Successful SaaS built on those templates would consume a lot of backend resources, wouldn’t they? Even if they’re optimized by Google, someone’s gotta pay the bill!
Just a thought! Though on a slightly more serious, developer-wallet-protecting note, if you do inspire a wave of successful SaaS apps, maybe whisper in someone’s ear about beefing up the actual consumption limits in Firebase? Email notifications are great and all, but nothing beats a hard stop before your credit card melts. Just sayin’!
Putting the potentially dangerous and potentially profitable ideas aside, thanks so much for sharing your knowledge in such a clear and engaging way!
Cheers,
CDavid
This is something we are actively thinking about. Something for @rody and a handful of us to plan!
We do have Google Pay!
But yes that would be a great template. thank you for the idea!
Wow, @kirupa and @rody ! Thanks so much for the replies!
That’s fantastic to hear you’re actively thinking about the templates, Kirupa! Seriously exciting stuff. Just… maybe start reinforcing those server rooms now, because if you build it, the developers will come. In droves.
And Rody, thanks for confirming Google Pay is there and liking the template idea! Much appreciated.
And speaking of templates… if this “SaaS starter” you’re planning is anything like those examples (flutterboilerplate, apparencekit) – covering Auth, CRUD, billing, subscriptions (with google play billing, apple pay, google pay), everything so we can “Start your next idea two steps ahead” – you guys are going to have a massive chunk of the market! A massive advantage!
Get ready!
Seriously though, thanks again for considering it and for the great work!
Best,

Thanks for the video! Didn’t realize it was a PWA, so that wins me a little precious screen real estate when I’m just on the laptop.
