After the version update in Gemini CLI, only the small letter “ç” among Turkish characters can no longer be written in the Gemini CLI input field. (There is no problem with the capital letter “Ç” and other Turkish characters. Only the small letter “ç” has this problem).

We can confirm this is a known bug in a recent version of the Gemini CLI. You are correct that it specifically affects the lowercase “ç” character input. This is not an error in your local setup or environment; it’s an issue our team is actively tracking.
Temporary Workaround
While our engineers work on a permanent fix, we’ve seen that copying and pasting the “ç” character into the CLI prompt works.
We know this is not ideal, but it should unblock you for now.
