Hi, I’ve been using firebase studio and gemini 2.5 pro now. yesterday, I started a new project and used a lot of time like 10 hours. Anyway today, I got a report that I used about 50 USD yesterday. Only one day.

[Question]

  • If I just use Gemini 2.5 preview version, then it’s free to use? or how much it will cost?
  • Is there anyway I can test Firebase Studio with free version of gemini?

there is a requirement for everything that google does btw.

Im using the Blaze plan. Is there any way I can see what i have spent so far? Im afraid to recieve a expensive bill!

Are you bringing in your own API key after generating it in something like AI Studio?

go to:

then click on billing from navigation burger. it should be visible under billing account overview tab.

You could also look from https://www.console.firebase.google.com, then go to:

  1. Firestore Database
  2. Usage
  3. View in USage and Billing link under billable metrics.

  2. If you have genarated a gemini api key [automatically, or via google ai studio] it would cost about this much: GEMINI API COST
