Both on the prototyper and the code view, you can work for a while, but eventually, there comes a moment when the workstation stops responding, and you have to go back to the homepage at https://studio.firebase.google.com/ and restart the workspace.
I’ve been working on Firebase Studio for the same app for about 20 days, and I’ve noticed this behavior is almost constant.
@Giovanni_Breccia have you noticed a pattern for when this happens? Is it consistently after a certain amount of time, or a certain amount of prompts, etc.? What more can you share about your experience that can help troubleshoot the issue?

Unfortunately, I can’t say for sure.
I have the feeling that this happens when you haven’t interacted with the prototyping agent or the code view mode for a few minutes.
If you interact constantly, it seems to respond better. However, if there are a few minutes of inactivity, it’s as if it loses responsiveness, like there was a preferential lane that is acquired but then later lost.
@jamesor I see this happening when i’m doing a lot of small tasks in a short space of time. it freezes at somepoint, in the chat the loading emote keeps spinning and if i refresh page get forever in Setting up environment.
Thank you @Lucas_Lang a couple of people have noticed this internally as well and the team is trying to reliably reproduce. If you discover a method that reliably triggers this behavior please let me know and I’ll pass it along.
In the meantime, I’ll share the info from this thread as things to look at.
