I am not able to open my Project which was working fine till a feww hours back. All I see is a black loading screen.
Tried closing the brower, clearing cache and cookies. The problem still exists.
Can someone help?

Hi @Ganesh_Rai are you experiencing this problem with only the mentioned workspace or other workspaces too? If you create a new workspace, does it experience this problem?

@jamesor also, I can create a new project. It seems, it won’t load the project I had nearly complete. The console keeps repeating the following (see image)
We have identified the root cause for this issue. This happens when our live preview server stops working for some reason. We’re hoping to have a fix for this rolled out shortly by early next week.
So until early next week our project is paused?
Looks like the problem is a reoccurring one, this is next week from the original post.

OK I solved this by right clicking the project, and Resetting the workspace…

Wait what do you mean “right clicking the project and resetting the workspace”?! Where, how?! 
Ah, ok. In the first studio screen you arrive at, You should see your projects on the RHS< then the are those little ::: things that give you options on each project/app the is an option to Reset the workspace. Don’t worry, nothing is lost, it somehow fixed my problem. I saw this in the forums here somewhere and thought I would try it.
And it worked.
My project now loaded with no wheel of death!

Hi everyone,
Following up on this thread, I’m also experiencing a project loading issue in Firebase Studio, showing infinite loading and ‘502 Bad Gateway’ errors in the console.
Crucially, this issue is specific to only ONE of my Firebase projects. All other projects with prototypes load correctly without any problems.
The problem occurs when attempting to access the design/prototyper area for this particular project.
I’ve performed extensive troubleshooting on my end to rule out local issues, including:
- Tested in multiple browsers (Chrome, OperaGX, and the Chrome-installed PWA version). The error is consistent across all.
- Tried in Incognito mode with extensions disabled.
- Tested on different networks (mobile hotspot) and with a VPN. The issue persists.
- Checked browser console/network tabs (F12) and see the 502 errors and issues with
.wsrequests. - Confirmed the issue occurs on a different device as well.
I have also reported this to Firebase Support via a direct ticket and provided them with a HAR file and screenshots of the issue specifically for this affected project.
I wanted to share this finding here, as the project-specific nature might be a key detail for diagnosis that could differentiate this from more general loading issues.
Has anyone else encountered this behavior where the problem is only with one specific project while others load fine?
