Restore Button Not showing on my AI Prototyper

What’s going on a whole 7month work all gone. I can’t see the restore or revert bac

Hello! Okay, please don’t panic. I understand how terrifying that is, but I can assure you your 7 months of work are not gone. :folded_hands:

The “Restore” button in the Prototyper is just a visual layer on top of a powerful, standard versioning system that is running underneath.

All of your work and every “checkpoint” the AI has made is saved as a Git commit. You can always access this full history, even if the Prototyper UI is misbehaving.

Here’s how to access your full history and restore your work right now:

1. Switch to the “Code” Editor

In your workspace, find the button or toggle to switch from the “Prototyper” view to the full “Code” editor (the one that looks like VS Code).

2. Open the Source Control (Git) Tab

Once you’re in the Code editor, look at the activity bar (the far left-hand sidebar).

  • Find the icon that looks like a “fork in the road” (the standard icon for Git/Source Control).

  • Click it.

3. Find Your Full History

This panel is your complete, permanent history.

  • You will see a “Commits” section or a “Timeline” section.

  • Click on it to expand. You will see a list of every single change and checkpoint the AI has ever made.

  • You can click on any commit to see exactly what files were changed.

  • When you find the version you want to restore, you can right-click the commit and choose to “Revert Commit” or “Reset” to that point, just like a normal Git workflow.

Your work is all there, just in a different, more powerful UI. I hope this helps you find your previous version immediately!
