Can’t perform any action — Preview stuck and app non-responsive after multiple resets.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently building a project in Firebase Studio, and I’ve encountered a persistent issue that’s making it impossible to continue development.

Here’s what’s happening:

The preview window doesn’t load or respond.

I’ve reset the app multiple times, but the problem persists.

Actions like editing files or deploying changes don’t work even after reloading or re-prompting the app.

Sometimes, I get silent “Internal Error” messages without a clear trace.

It’s affecting my ability to test and iterate on my project.

I understand Studio is in preview, and I appreciate the work being done, but this seems like a critical blocker.

Is anyone else facing the same issue?
Any known workaround?

I appreciate any help you can provide.

Same thing going on for me. I am thinking the context window is simply too big(?). If every time I write something it sends the entire conversation back, that has to have a limit!

Thanks a lot!
That actually worked perfectly :raising_hands:
I was stuck with the infinite reconnect issue for days, and your /clear trick solved it instantly.

Appreciate you sharing it so clearly. You just saved my workflow!
