Hi @Tayo
What’s happening exactly? You cannot log in? The AI errors?
Thanks!

Each time log in, I keep landing on this page with the AI’s response loading indefinitely. It would then stop and I’ll never get any response.

Did you try to restart the vm?

Yea, I did a reset, but it seems not to work

hmm then I guess this is up to the Google team.

Thank you, I await their response

I have been unable to open my firebase studio for almost 1 week now.

When I click the link, it just loads and doesn’t bring out anything at all and it keeps loading till nothing happens.

I don’t know what to do. Please y’all help. I don’t know how to navigate it, so please help with possible description and pictures

Thank

Subject: Fix: Firebase Studio Page Not Loading or Stuck on White Screen

Hi @Blessing_Authorpress :waving_hand:

Sorry you’re running into this — when Firebase Studio won’t load and just keeps showing a blank or loading screen, it usually means your browser is holding onto an older version of the app.

Here are a few steps that often fix this right away:

  1. Open Firebase Studio in a private/incognito window.
→ If it loads there, your cache is the problem (we’ll clear it next).

  2. Clear Firebase Studio’s cache:

    • On Chrome:

      • Go to chrome://settings/clearBrowserData

      • Choose “Cached images and files”

      • Press Clear data, then try Studio again.

  3. Force the Studio to reload completely:

    • While the Studio is open and stuck loading, press:
      Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R
      Mac: Cmd + Shift + R
  4. Disable any ad-blocker or privacy extensions temporarily.
Some extensions mistakenly block Firebase’s internal scripts.

  5. Try another browser or device.
This helps confirm if the problem is local or on Firebase’s side.

If none of those work, visit https://console.firebase.google.com and click Hosting → Open Firebase Studio — that reloads it fresh from the source.

You can also open Developer Tools (F12) → Console tab and copy any red error messages — that helps us pinpoint exactly what’s blocking the load.

If you can share a screenshot of what you see when it’s “loading forever,” I’ll walk you through the next exact step visually.

You’re not alone — this can happen after new Studio updates, but it’s usually a simple cache fix. :folded_hands:

Hi ! If the answer of @Antonio_Scott is not working, You can go to C:\Users\”YOURUSERNAME”\AppData\Local\Google and delete the chrome folder.

BE CAREFUL !!

THIS SOLUTION REMOVE EVERYTHING FROM YOU’RE CHROME APPLICATION**
so, you need to reconnect every account to zero and loose everything that is not saved to your google account after this**…

Sorry for my french, im tired. Hope this gonna help.

That’s an interesting solution. I didn’t include it as it is a nuclear option. The steps should work guys. When it doesn’t, it is mostly due to the Default settings being triggered in your project, as a result of code that is not aligned with Firebase rules.

Guys the hard work of setting up your development environment is the part that many of you are likely tripping over. No, you don’t have to be a seasoned developer or programmer to use this application. Yes, you do need to do some things that are mandatory in development. Deleting the app data is radically the same as deleting the project in Studio.

Here is a simple solution for you. Take your project and run it through Figma. Next, create a Git Repository that matches your Figma folder for folder file type for file type. Next you should have a Slack channel even if you are working alone. This is a good way to track error. If you don’t have a Development Folder, use the Figma folder. Have a Log and a Sanity Check list in it.

Those of you having trouble with Firebase should definitely not be messing around in C;\. The easiest way to use Firebase is to read the Documentation, use the tutorials prior to using the app. If you are going to use Code Snippets from AI Generators outside of Gemini AI Assist, you should ask Gemini to Analyze the code before adding to the project. Check that your Code Snippets are not examples. You can also use “Gemini, Force Rules on this Code when formatting the file”.

You can ask “Gemini, tell me about this code snippet, and does it pass Firebase Rules?” The hard part is knowing when you have triggered the Default and how to silence the Default. What do I mean by this? If you are not a seasoned developer or coder it means Firebase didn’t like your designer code and took steps to fix it. Want your project to develop fast and efficient, set it up properly when you first use the prototype window..

Outside of this I hope you guys take the challenges your development throws at you and win

Of course, i totally agree ! My solution is only for people who can’t use Firebase Studio anymore on google chrome ! (and no, you don’t lost any project when you delete the Chrome folder in C:, only the Chrome related settings)
