I wish firebase studio was like Lovable :(

Why you guys have to complicate everything? Sites such as Bolt.new or Lovable make you guys feel like beginners…

@Adenilson_Ribeiro - what are the areas where you feel we can improve? We are actively working on improving Firebase Studio, so your feedback here would be very helpful

I’ve been testing the new Firebase Studio, and honestly, it’s pretty underwhelming. As a quick experiment, I asked it to build an “Anki Clone” a simple flashcard app. I ran the same prompt through Lovable and Bolt.new, and both generated clean, functional, ready-to-use projects. Firebase Studio, on the other hand, gave me a barebones homepage with zero styling and buttons that don’t do anything.

I ran several other tests trying to build different things through prompts, and it’s nearly impossible to get Firebase Studio to produce anything remotely usable without micromanaging every single instruction. Even something as basic as creating a button requires you to explicitly say “make it functional”, as if that isn’t the whole point of adding a button in the first place.

At this stage, it feels like Firebase Studio is just spitting out placeholder code without any meaningful logic behind it.
