Hey @Jan_Pavuk_Helping - this space is the official forum for Firebase Studio while the Slack channel is community-run and for all things Firebase (not specifically Firebase Studio).

I just published my first article on Firebase Studio development. I used the platform to generate a rapid prototype to read .PKPass ticket files:

Hi folks,
Here to share my experience of playing with firebase studio.
I’ve been creating and deploying real-use application using this and while the idea has a lot of potential the studio needs a lot of improvements.

Still love the concept of creating prototype!!

Looking forward to new updates

I accidentally deleted my workspace in Firebase Studio, I’m extremely disappointed to lose all my workspace data and sincerely request a way to recover it.

Hi I’m new. I’ve co-founded a few start ups but I’m not a Dev so I’m loving Firebase Studio to bring my ideas to life. Day job is a Business Analyst so have some understanding and I learn really quick but I’m not a Dev. Working on a simple app now just by asking Gemini in Firebase Studio to build it for me. I guess I’ll occasionally be asking silly question as I learn more about how things work.

We’re not even allowed to use it. In a few days, you’ll start seeing this error:
Error opening workspace: We’ve detected suspicious activity on one of your workspaces.

System fails to code a waiting list signup. Fails to code a sign for music discussion. Simply fails over and over and over.

Very consistent. I look forward to massive progress. Meanwhile. I will use other tools.

Continuing the discussion from :rocket: Launch Day! Show Off Your Published Firebase Studio Apps!

Upgrade your packages. There was a package that was infected by malware and distributed. That’s why there is a banner above your prototyper to alert you on that.

Hello, good afternoon, I would like to express my dissatisfaction with Prototype.
I was one of the fools who paid 270 USD to get the PRO version, hoping that Google would give me something different and premium.
I simply cannot understand how the largest company in the world is capable of delivering us complete garbage like this.
I don’t understand how Google manages to fall behind smaller companies like Horizon, v0, Dyad… among many others.

The layout generated by Prototype is extremely basic and often not responsive for mobile.
The slowness in creating projects is another factor that increasingly discourages me from continuing to use this service.

Google only provides integration with Supabase, once again and as always, limiting its service strictly to its own ecosystem, while smaller companies are offering integration with several well-known services in the market such as Supabase, MongoDB, Vercel, etc.

It is truly disappointing to see a company of this magnitude completely ignoring what its users are saying.
They respond to our posts with automated answers and without any context about what is actually being discussed, things like:
“Dear user, we really appreciate your feedback and we are improving our services, blah blah blah…”

When I enter the forum, what I see the most are dissatisfied users suggesting improvements, suggesting new integrations — and what does Google do? They keep shitting on our heads and completely ignoring what we suggest for their own improvement.
They ignore the community and the developers who still believe in this project.
They want to act like Apple by restricting their ecosystem, while smaller companies are increasingly embarrassing Google with their AI tools.

Unfortunately, I see no other alternative but to stop using this service.

I think all users should do the same — fight back against Google’s millionaires who ignore their users and don’t care about us at all.
If at least half of the users stopped using this tool, you would see how overnight they would provide us with an effective solution.
See for yourselves how tools like v0 are so much more effective, faster, efficient, and with higher quality layouts compared to Google’s Prototype.

Unfortunately, this is what we have: the BIGGEST internet giant being crushed by open-source projects, by small Indian companies, and by other AIs that appeared just recently.
A complete shame and humiliation for Google.
