I think it is amazing that Firebase Studio uses nix as its configution mechanism. Even though it had its learning curve, as a user with an AI assistant, the learning curve was so much easier these days than it would have been years ago.
With that being said, it feels like there is a missed opportunity or loack of collaboration/synchronization between the suite of Google tooling related to Nix. It would be a way better user experience if there was an assumption between all of the current Google offerings that are being released that the user might be using Nix as their configuation mechanism and having it normalized on whatever configuration comes preconfigured with what the Firebase Studio Prototyper spits out for the user.
