While my Gemini 2.5 pro right is defined, I enter a promt and this can be a detailed change. While making this change, it needs to change many files. But sometimes after modifying some files, a message appears that my 2.5 pro rights are expired and I have to continue with 2.5 flash and the codes are interrupted.
When I try to resume the process after it has been interrupted, it can go haywire. When it goes haywire, no matter how much you try, it starts making nonsense and I have to reset everything, undo everything, clear the history with /clear (or even close the terminal and reopen it) and do the same thing again. This happens at least once a day, almost every day, and I think there should be a fix for this.
In “Code” mode, you can elect to connect your account to your own GEMINI_API_KEY which will allow you to use any gemini model you choose without running into the limitation you’re currently experiencing. If you haven’t connected to a GEMINI_API_KEY within a “paid” Google Cloud Platform account, then you’ll have to use the model selected for you by the Firebase Studio editor.
Yes, I know that, but that’s not the problem. The problem is that the transition to 2.5 flash is not smooth when the daily 2.5 pro usage right is expired. I actually explained the details of the problem in the subject content.
