Reason behind sunset of firebase studio

What’s the reason behind shutting down the firebase studio? I think it’s a game changer better than Al studio and antigravity.

In simple words they have build a massive infrastructure which runs anti-gravity then why they will have two swords and community for same. Hence sunset of firebase studio and super sunrise of anti-gravity.

But Antigravity can’t run on the web and AI Studio has eliminated Python, which is still more popular than Typescript.

My guess is that IDX was just too crufty to shoehorn comprehensive AI into smoothly, so they’re working on integrating Jules with another VS Code Web codebase to make it feel better and possibly more like GitHub Codespaces.

What’s the reason behind shutting down the firebase studio? Google. I’ve learned over many years not to get too attached to the tools Google makes. They change their minds on good tools very frequently.

The free AI agent tier in Firebase Studio was unbeatable to me. That allowed to build a test app without moving to dedicated API key. Antigravity is ok, standard IDE etc, but a web IDX usable everywhere was much better. So, I suppose they are asking to move to solutions where you need API KEY also for small projects. Free lunch is going to end soon.
