Firebase studio workspace not starting studio-9306514723

No, I’m referring to Firebase Studio in the Chrome browser, not Android Studio. It hasn’t been working at all over the past week. Today it functioned for a couple of hours, but the issue has returned. It’s not working again now.

j’aimerais savoir quand on va ogmenter l’espaces de travail

es que il y a un autre alternatif

@Vitaliy_B sorry, what I meant was your project an Android Studio project within Firebase Studio? In templates, you may chose Android Studio Cloud. However, as of writing you can only be put on a waitlist for when this becomes available.

@Mega_Truslee currently, we offer one VM size for the workspaces. We are evaluating this and if you’d like to see a larger VM upvote this feature request or post a new one about what you are looking for.

@jamesor Sorry for the mix-up. I’m working on regular web React projects, not anything Android-related.

its been more than 6 hours, i couldn’t open the workspace. but for other project ok. only this particular project (9229324503) couldn’t open. kindly help me. thank you

@Hadzwan_Hamzah something to try is to “restart” your workspace. You can find this in the context (…) menu on the Firebase Studio landing page next to your workspace name. This will give you a new VM and possibly resolve your issue.

If you have tried that and it still doesn’t open, create a support ticket and attach screenshots and if possible screen recordings showing the behavior you are experiencing. The information you provide will help the support team troubleshoot your issue. This is the best way forward.

From your description, it does not appear you are impacted by either the current Android Studio incident or a suspicious activity suspension so we can rule that out.

I think it’s less about Google’s data centers choosing a busy or not busy one, and more about the network path between the user and Google’s data centers. The VPN is effectively changing that path, circumventing whatever bottleneck or restriction is causing the problem without it.
